*A award change fee

Hello, I'm now Premier Platinum under the revamped program. One question:
if I take out a C award for my wife (non-elite) on a mix of UA/OZ flights going to ICN out of my acct, will there be change fee if we need to alter the return?

Never done that with UA but DL charges none.

Thanks.

If you are PP or 1K, there is no charge for your change or cancelation. Because you are using your FF miles for her ticket, your status is attached to the miles used, thus she will get your perks.

PMUA don't allow changes after departure on Star Alliance award bookings. i would book it as one-ways.

I am actually curious about this too...what is the policy for change after departure. Is it:

1 - not allowed, period (very few exceptions apply)
2 - allowed if the remaining legs are on UA only

Booking 2 oneways takes away the free stopover.

Also, the webpage says:

When flying with one of our Star Alliance partners, changes must be made at least 24 hours before departure.

Does that mean:

1 - I cannot book a *A flight within 24 hours of departure and
2 - I cannot cancel a *A flight within 24 hours of departure (thus losing the ticket)?

Thanks.
