SFO - HNL, Which CO 767 (762 or 764)?

I am booked on UA73 SFO-HNL in first on 5/9 and currently it is listed as a 762. I received an email confirmation as I made a changes to my flights and the email showed UA73 as a 764. Do they have plans of flying the 764 to HNL or is this an error?

Flown UA73 several times and have always been flown on 764

CPU can be tougher here due to fewer BF seats and more comfortable ride.......offset by less than desirable departure time of 4:30 PM +

Does this mean a possibility of the new Business First seats?

Check out the seat map for your scheduled date of 5/9. This is the configuration that I have ended up with on all of my SFO-HNL flights.
I guess that even though the aircraft is labelled as 764, it is really 762.

A random check of other dates shown the same thing. Aircraft is listed at 767-400 and seat map shows 767-200ER
In any event, a much more comfortable ride that sUA 757 and 767.

It is highly unlikely that you'll get the new seats. The aircraft is usually the 76H, which is a 767-400 high density config. It has fewer seats up front. The first row of Y in that mini-cabin is nice.

I wonder since this plane just keeps going back n forth SFO-HNL-SFO loop when does it ever get MX? Is it on Tuesdays when the flight is a 737?
