I suddenly have negative PQMs too. I so regret that I have thrown my screendumps away when my numbers matched on 3/3. Little did I know how much they'd mess with my account after the official change over.

Well, atleast we're in the same boat...but BOO, Major BOO UA. Major FAIL!

Also negative PQMs here. However, if you view the last statement (assuming you had CO activity), the old statement on the system still shows correctly so still provides evidence of the prior PQMs. Mine went from 1087 to (713) based on 1800 newly flown miles.

RDMs for my 3/9 IAD-SAN flight posted - No PQMs - 150% PQS. A regional jet flight posted with actual mileage, not the 500 minimum.

Why is this so difficult to get correct, UA Insider? Come on!

cranky1K Mar 14, 2012 7:37 pm

RDMs finally posted today for flights to and from CDG last week, the PQS appear on my summary but not the PQM. I find this puzzling.

At least the RDM reflects the "old" distance of 4153 miles and not the slightly shorter distance of 4139 miles that was going to take its place.

mkl37 Mar 14, 2012 7:51 pm

Thanks UA for posting my 2 flights from last week.

But its a major failure…:td::td::td::td:

2 flights posted with total +4838 mi but also now have the same amount in negative (-4838 mi) added to beginning balance. Net no change (45,943 mi). My PQM should be 50,781.

Doesn’t UA test it before rolling it out?

Please chill out about your miles!

Fellow FTers,

Unless your missing miles are affecting your status or ability to book rewards, please CHILL OUT! Last week I spoke to a nice rep because I couldn't book a rewards trip due to missing miles. She informed me it would be another 2 weeks before the system is back to normal.

So please, if it's just your miles and fare classes, just keep track and chill out for another week. If after another week things are still bad then we can let loose. But right now pls just sit back and wait it out.

Thanks.

^Totally agree with this post. Don't be tying up phone lines with these concerns. Leave the phone lines open for persons with immediate needs,
Just keep track of your records and give UA management time to prioritize concerns and correct problems as are most necessary.

Interesting. If you visit United.com, there's no indication anything is wrong with anything regarding customer ability to purchase a ticket, get a BP, or do anything else related to a flight.

The miles seem to be posting fine. It seems to be the PQMs that continually remain the issue. The system seems to want to subtract them instead of add them from previous totals, and it results in either reduced PQM or stagnant

My experience is even worse. My seat assignment kept getting changed every evening and was changed once more even after I printed a BP. GA had no idea why this happened but said that seat assignments changed a lot. It is either a really bad systems bug or someone higher up is doing favors for some clients by moving others!

Nobody talks about calling UA for that, not worse it. But keeping track and reconciling over and over again cost my time and that equals money. Resulting in me being not happy with them. Add that to the real issues and voila you get disgruntled customers. It would be way easier if UA would be upfront about it right when the issues surface. this looks like North Korean PR school to me.

I finally had ONE of my five flight post since 3/5 but I now have zero PQMs for the year. My segments are fine but I have no PQMs. Help!

demkr Mar 14, 2012 9:04 pm

The PQM posted properly for the (UA Agent Manually posted) outbound trip of my flight...updated screen shot here. However, full disclosure still receiving the RDM/PQM bonuses when I shouldn't be. Despite the PQM bonus earned for the return flight, it was "cancelled" out as I mentioned before from the "Balance before 2/6/12" section. So, technically, I am still missing validly earned PQMs from my HNL-SFO leg.

http://i39.tinypic.com/v4mcef.png See the parenthesis part, that's what I'm missing.

So. To try to get to the bottom of this, did anyone else notice a MANUAL (where you had to call in) item post correctly (PQMs/RDMs) and an automatic post incorrectly (RDMS/PQS but no PQMs?)

Also: The lifetime balance remains unchanged through all of this. Which is obviously incorrect

This is unreal. I just had my return flight post... The RdMs posted correctly, the outbound did not post. The PQM posted in the NEGATIVE.

Same thing happened to me! 3 out of 4 of my flights from 3/5 posted, but deducted the mileage balance from my PQM for the previous statement timeframe, therefore now showing a negative balance for that statement period!

Ridiculous. Flights still missing. Then a random one posts with a negative PQM balance. Honestly no one on the phones knows anything. Have PMd Insider. Extremely frustrated. About to stop flying UA all together until this stuff stops happening.

See, here it is: (Bolding = PQM)

Beginning Balance as of 02/06/2012: 0 (3,597) 0
Airline Activity: 14,469 68,178 28
Non Airline Activity: 195,841 - -
Award Activity: (52,500) - -
Ending Balance as of 03/14/2012: 157,810 64,581 28

As the 3,597 PQM were applied, they were then removed from the "as of 2/6/12" total, thus when all is said and done, the RDMs were posted properly, the PQMs were, but then they were some how mysteriously deducted from the 2/6 total. What the heck is going on?

And why didn't my outbound post? Why does it say I cant' request credit? I am absolutely at my wits end, it's been almost two weeks since the integration!!

Exactly what happened to me!
