Quarantine and 1 day layover?

Quarantine and 1 day layover?
What the plan if I fly into UK (UK national) from Thailand. Stay one night at an airport hotel on bath road, and the next day fly out to Spain? How does this fit with the 14 day quarantine sillyness?
