My sticker at ORD allowed me to get into the blocked off area that has the GE machines. It was blocked off because as I enter a Pre-Cleared flight from I think Dublin or Shannon landed.
With my one experience so far was good. I did have trouble with the machine reading my passport but I got it to work.
Ohhh and to add to the list of airports that don't have GE. MDW didn't which would have been nice since when my flight on Porter landed only one Officer was in their booth to process passengers. Which with me being in the middle of the of the group off passengers it took about 20 minutes to be processed. And I have an off topic question about that. After I was processed the passport control officer kept my form and there were no officers at the exit or anywhere else past passport control. Is that normal for smaller stations?

Never been to a super small station like that. I'm guessing that they have the passport person doing both tasks and have someone waiting in secondary if necessary. That said, according to what the agent said when I was getting my sticker and learning the machine (I had already interviewed when I got NEXUS), you should have been able to show your sticker and move to the front of the line.

Can anyone confirm that the kiosks still do not ask about "food?" I seem to recall that the last time I came through last month, the kiosk asked about meat, plants, etc., but not generalized "food." Is it still that way?
I am returning from the Caribbean tomorrow and am hoping to bring back some sugar and dairy products, but if I will have to check "yes" to anything then I won't bother because I have a quick connection and don't have time to deal with the big "X" on the receipt.

Fresh dairy products, which don't include most cheese or processed products like milk chocolate, are generally prohibited or need to be declared. So you would have to check yes if bringing things like fluid milk. I believe yogurt is ok, but double check with CBP.
Sugar should not be an issue at all.

Does anybody know if Montreal (YUL) is equipped with GE kiosks? If not, are there front-of-line privileges with the stickered passport?

Why would Montreal have GE? Isn't this a US Passport program only?

I would assume that paule123 is talking about the pre-clearance zone. That said, the pre-clearance areas don't have GE kiosks but do have NEXUS kiosks which use the older CANPASS Air to clear both Canadian and US bound passengers. I actually find it easier, because you just scan your NEXUS card and to the IRIS scan.
