Lack of TSAPre at LAX TBIT?
My recent trip through LAX, I didn't find a PreCheck lane at the international terminal - where it's sorely needed! Even the J/F lane was long, given how many flights go through LA each day, and it's almost embarassing how fast one gets used to dignified security - no undressing and no "perp stance".
Is this typical of the airport? Or maybe something about the day I was there?

No PreCheck at TBIT is the norm. It's a coincidence that many participating carriers fly out of TBIT.
This will soon be alleviated by the opening of the T4-TBIT connector, so you can just use T4's security lanes.
