I got condition approval several months ago and finally had my interview this week at Derby Line - Vermont. The Canadian officer just read to me the Nexus regulation and asked why I was applying. Then he said that from his side, it was all ok and it was approved. The US agent just confirmed all the information in my file and told me that in 11 hours I'll recieve an email if my application was approved and the card by mail in around 2 weeks. However, I still have not received any email and in the website, it's always indicating "conditionally appoved" and as if my interview didn't happen.

Normally it should get approved the same day. In my case, at Niagara falls, I got a status change email as soon as my interview was completed and I was walking out of the interview center. And the card was received in exactly 2 weeks

You should be calling the Deby Line Vermont. Seems like someone forgot to press a button.

I also did my interview at Derby Line back in May. It took them about two weeks after my interview to change my status from conditionally approved to approved. Something about my fingerprints not being clear enough so the system kept on rejecting them. Maybe you're in a similar situation. Give it about a week and then try calling them.

Good luck. I don't know that I have seen any reports here of actual NEXUS interviews that have been done remotely. GE, yes.

Don't give me false hope with my GE expiring in 5 months, having applied for NEXUS in June 2022. At least the Blaine enrollment center is only a 2 hour drive for me if a remote interview isn't an option.

Oh, good to know. I’ll let you know if I ever see availability.

Great news! When did the conditional approval come through? I'm surprised you can do a remote interview for a first time enrollment.

My situation is pretty similar, except I applied for NEXUS in Sep 2022. I'm waiting for conditional approval too.

Oh updated, the conditional approval came early this morning. So far no remote availability, unclear if I'd ever get one even if that's an option. But I'll give it a try.

Good luck! Hope this is a good sign.

It actually makes sense to do remote interview since they already have your finger prints and picture from GE account.

CBSA is the holdout. Remote interviews have been available for GE renewals but not NEXUS renewals.

Thanks for your answers.
I didn't call. I got the update at the website after 2 weeks and yesterday I received the card !!!!!!
I will use it for first time in 10 days.

I applied for first time on March 2022, so almost 10 months.

I applied in Sep 2022. Compared to you, I haven't waited (much) yet!
