Yes, for most, a taste of Skyline once is usually (more than) enough. Occasionally, sometimes people love it so I never discourage anyone from trying it just in case. Graeter's ice cream, otoh, is a Cincinnati institution I support wholeheartedly!

Best wishes for smooth travels and thanks for taking us along on this trip-I'm in the area regularly to visit family and have never done any of the activities on your itinerary (except, obviously CVG sans Skyline) so truly enjoyed your report. My father, RIP would've loved a visit to Willow Run.

The oneworld lounge finder sent me to gate 20 and a closed
lounge with a sign to gate 12 which is where I started

This new Escape lounge opened Wednesday and obviously is spotless.

A Cincy Light lager ands a large Angels Envy to start festivities. The Angels Envy was a $4 up charge

I have thoroughly enjoyed this lounge. The staff have been entertaining and the bourbon is good. Even the complimentary drinks are better than you usually find. All of these are complimentary and if it wasn’t for the angels envy I would be happily drinking the maker mark, or even the Jim Beam, that’s an easy sip.

I’ve not been brave enough to try the food, it doesn’t look great, but these cheese crackers are moreish!

Our plane is still over 30 minutes away and it look like it took a much more southerly track than usual which explains the flight time delay. Hopefully we go further north on the return.

Looks like “Cheez-It” Original. Paprika is the common zig it adds.

After a thoroughly good time in the lounge and a lot of banter with both the staff and others it was time to head to the gate which was less than a minutes Walk from the lounge

A quick check, supposedly there will be a group 0 call…. We will see

Everyone is very well behaved, no gate lice

Fabulous report, many thanks for all the effort. Your stakhanovite application to remembering to photograph each little aspect is never undermined by the alcohol!

Good morning from London Heathrow where it is now 11am. Unusually for me I slept for the largest proportion of the flight, at least five hours, possibly more.

This was the pre departure beverage

it was just plain nasty!

Meal service was immediately after departure and the crew got the foodout to everyone really quickly

The paneer main course was so spicy I could not eat it!

breakfast was this egg and cheese sandwich which was very dry

We are nearing the end of this little weekend diversion now, just the well trodden path to NCL remains.

We parked up at the B gates and I took a stroll along the completely empty tunnel to arrivals.

Passport control was empty and I was soon in the CCR. First stop was customer services and much to my surprise there was a cabana free and that is where I currently reside penning this update. Time now for a quick shower and then off to the bar as usual.

They didn’t make it back to the UK I was a bit surprised at how crunchy they were but I soon got used to it
