Good morning from a beautifully sunny Bucharest where the skies are blue and everyone is wearing heavy coats so I assume it is a bit brisk outside.
It is now approaching 10am local and I slept like a baby! No tearing rush to do anything today, the first stop is the restaurant to enjoy the Complimentary breakfast courtesy of Hilton Diamond

A small gluten free offering
Not the best breakfast spread Ive seen in Bucharest, but not bad, and there is an egg cooking station for pancakes, waffles, and omelette that I think will be my choice of the morning. Strangely Im not that hungry this morning, I wonder why?

A little bit of local research this map probably covers 15 minutes walk to the furthest point. Only challenge will be the wide variety of opening times, from noon at the earliest to 6pm at the latest chances are that one will get skipped

Pilsner Urquell to start the day off gently. This is a small beer supposedly!

Edit: The bill

They brew 11 different beers here, of which six are on tap. These range from a 1.2% blueberry beer through light lagers and on to a 7% dark beer.
Really friendly staff, happy to explain all the beers and the history of the tractor!

No flights unfortunately so starting out in the middle of the pack with the gold lager.

This is GOOD! Very easy drinking and tastes great.
The food menu is in the form of a newspaper and they have a recommended beer for every dish

The international menu versions are online

darthlemsip hard to judge atmosphere at not even 1pm on a Sunday but with beer this good and staff this friendly I definitely recommend putting this one on the list.

The Gold lager was so good that I had to stay and try another, this time the dark beer. Im no fan of stouts but have had a number of dark beers here in Romania and theyve all been good. This one is equally tasty, a meal in a glass

Edit: The bill, bargain!

Beer three is the Experimental Helles. These are beers that they make only once. This one was a bit odd, it had a tang I just could not identify, almost cabbage without being nasty, if that makes any sort of sense what so ever!

And the bill

Edit: All three beers were lightly hoppy, and for me they were a bit Meh! Not awful, but equally not somewhere Id seek out again.

I just had a brain check and was checking the prices you were paying: 7p a pint.....nah that's not right and nor was my geography, Bucharest is in Romania not Hungary <deep sigh>! It nicely sums up my week which is why I am so enjoying this TR.
