What a cute baby daughter you have.

Thanks for the trip report - nice seeing that there is some light at the end of the tunnel for obeying lockdown rules!

I was just reading about the famous Ajman stamps the other day. Not sure if they still issue their own stamps after becoming part of the UAE though?

Thank you, londonfog. Yes, I guess holidays will only get a bit more fun/complicated as she grows older.

Many thanks, SanDiego1K. We managed to cull one bag by the next staycation. Some more work to do to get the luggage a bit more manageable before we finally get to fly with her.

One question about the hotel, looking at the top of the hotel (top 2 floors), there are 2 large banks of windows on opposite sides of the hotel. Is that a fancy suite or other purpose for the bank of windows like a restaurant?
Thanks, HawaiiTrvlr. I think those are the two penthouse suites:

Cheers, sl00001. Hopefully life in Singapore can get back to some kind of normal very soon.

Beautiful little girl you have - must be about the same age as our youngest I think. Amazing how such little people require so much luggage isn't it!
Thanks, bruns83. Yes, every meal time seems to require a change in clothes afterwards.

Yes, can be quite a struggle to get her to stay still long enough to put it on though.

Thank you, nequine. Yes, can only hope international travel can safely resume soon.

Great tr and beautiful photos. I actually think that you would be able to do a carry on trip. I never did but I think you would be capable of it. Gate-checking a stroller gives a nice free luggage cart for the airport journey :-)

DanielW, great to see a new addition to your trip reports! Looks like Hannelie had a blast and hopefully shell get to experience a FC trip sometime in the future. 😉

Nice trip report. Your daughter is just fantastic. Enjoy her while you can, the time passes so quickly. Ours are now 21 and 17 and all that young fun has finished.
Have you looked at getting her an infant rubber ring for the pool. You can just pop her in and she can just splash around herself fully supported whilst having fun

Thank you, gaobest. I think both Emirates and Flydubai are not allowing use of the overhead compartment at the moment so carry-on only may be a distant dream.

Thanks, injian. Yes, can't wait until we take her on her first plane trip, even in plain vanilla economy.

Cheers, rapidex. She is still getting used to the water thing. Hopefully we can find her something safe so she can splash around on her own though.
