The aircraft is an old 737-800 named Tunceli and delivered in 2000. The MSN number is 29782 and the line number is 490. TC-JFV was painted in the special Manchester United livery.

The seat was leather and not comfortable but the legroom was the best had a lot of space because of this seat was normally configured for Business Class.

Thank you....your trip report is helpful since we are planning for a possible trip to Instanbul and want to do a one day trip to Ephesus, which would mean a quick flight to and from Izmir.....

very good report.... i was wondering if seat 7 on 737-800 is missing window (seatguru says that is missing) because im flying with THY from ATH to JFK via IST in a couple weeks. From ATH to IST im flying with 737-800, i choosed 7A and i was trying to find if seatgurus site is correct about the missing window.
