Online check-in was quite and easy. I checked-in to Istanbul.



Tracking the inbound flight


Check-in:
After arriving the airport I just went to the First Class check-in as I’m a SEN member and checked-in and dropped our luggages.

Boarding pass:

After on I proceeded security and went to the Star Alliance Business Lounge.

Lounge:

A normal Business Lounge that included all facilities that you need to have.

Boarding:
Very fast & quick




Seat:
The new business class seats were very comfortable and it’s really nice when you sleep onboard.





IFE:
Inflight entertainment was nice everyting worked properly except the route map. It had some errors showing the route.

About this aircraft:
It’s the 3rd 747-8I for LH. It was half years old when I boarded it. It’s MSN number is 37829 and it’s line number is 1453.

Takeoff:
A little bit delay because of unloading a luggage that is checked-in and the passenger wasn’t on the jumbojet. But the flight landed on time.

Snack:
After takeoff they served a refreshment for us

Menu:
When serving the cashews the crew gave us our menus.

First Meal:
To start I chose the bresaola salad. It was good


Then I wanted the pasta but It wasn’t delicious as in the first flight

The dessert was also good for C class. It was nice

Clean

Thanks for the trip report. I was surprised to see you gave the seat a 10 out of 10; the space for your feet seems really tight and close to your neighbor, was this an issue at all. I also noticed that you still have to walk over the Erin next to you to exit the seat, was this also an issue during the flight? Thanks!

I believe the first app is FlightRada24 Free. They also have free and premium versions by the looks of it. The other app is Flight+.
