Saw a sign yesterday in ROC advertising free wi-fi in the free business center in the terminal. I didn't try it as I was running a bit late so I cannot vouch for its speech, reliability etc etc.

AVP (Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA) - free wireless
|
Albuquerque Sunport
ABQ - free wireless throughout the terminals.

Bump. I guess if there is little interest in this it can pass to the history books but for now we'll try it again.

ICN (Seoul). There are free internet-enabled computers, plenty of them with very few users, at several locations upstairs--on the floor level where the airline lounges are located. I don't know about wireless access (didn't have my laptop when I passed through there in June).

Thanks for starting it. |
A rather obscure one: TSR - (Timisoara in Romania) has free wireless internet access throughout.
|
SCL - Santiago, Chile
It is wireless though not available in the entire International terminal after immigration and security. Also available at the Gatsby restaurant in the main public terminal which actually sits on top of the portion of the International terminal where the signal seems to be the strongest. Don't know about the national terminal as I have not been in that section in a long while. |
ROA (Roanoke, VA) has free wireless in the entire terminal building, plus power outlets along the walls in the gate areas. It also has three or four free wired stations outside of security and to the right that have phones, power, and I believe ethernet ports. This is as 7/05.
MHH (Marsh Harbour, Bahamas) has free wireless in the entire terminal building (such that it is), but very little in the way of power options. NAS (Nassau, Bahamas) also has free wireless from BaTelCo, but it was not functional last time I was there (1/05). |
Pensacola, FL airpot has free wi-fi, at least as of April 2005
|
Update for PDX
WiFi is available in allterminals.
|
MAN has free wireless but I've only used it in Terminal Chav (2).
|
DAY (DAyton, OH) even has free clubs with PC terminals. Nominally you are supposed to have som affiliation but it's an honor system.
There is wireless and wired ethernet laptop stations in the clubs. I think the Wifi is only within the range of the clubs. But there are also free PC stations and ethernet around the terminal. For example next to some C gates that US Air operates from. |
Well I'm interested! Thanksmcrt. Cheers.
PS - good seeing you at SeaDo! |
