Latest theory on flying
Good day all.
After much thought, well actually it just now came to my mind, I have a theory about flight enjoyment. I got this idea by reading the threads about alcohol in the DL forum.
Here's my theory: if you fly while buzzed (not drunk, but a little tipsy) then the flight will be more enjoying. You really won't care about much and you will be tired, increasing the chances of sleeping. I have yet to test my hypothesis.
Thoughts?

I have found that when I drink while flying (or before flying), I often pass out sleeping on the flight, and then feel bad when I wake up - very dehydrated. Which is okay if I am flying to the Carib for a vacation, because I can rehydrate with more beer right away
. But when flying home on business, I have usually found it's not a great idea.

When I'm on a home stretch from ORD to MCI, I sometimes burn an upgrade certificate just so I can settle into a window seat in First and watch the clouds while they refill my wine glass. This is enhanced now that I have my Bose headphones so I can listen to suitable music (either Golden Oldie sacred music, preferably in Latin, or Golden Oldie Stoner stuff like Pink Floyd).
It almost reminds me of how nice flying used to be.

I think my theory will ensure an overall positive flight, no matter how bad it is, because you will be too gone to remember anything.

Your theory is correct, however, test it to your own satisfaction, don't just take my word for it.
