most traveled book

I just noticed a book that has been traveling 'with me' for the last few months.

The book has been USA, El Salvador, Fiji, New Zealand, & Tahiti.

The name of the book is The Great Earthqauke and Firestorms of 1906, but I cannot recommend it since I am only 5 pages into it

What is the name of your book and how many countries has it been to?

I have a book in my carryon which has been there since at least September. Since then I've visited europe, asia (lots of times), australia (few times), south pacific, done a round the world (separate to the previous trips) - something like 200k flown miles so far (and about 20 countries)! I am determined I will read it, eventually.

At least I haven't (yet) bought another copy of the book forgetting I already had it (done that before more than once ).

Some books that I bring on a flight do not even last one long haul leg...If it's boring it just stays on the plane and I buy something else at the next airport.

I carried The Corrections by Jonathan Franzen to five or six countries on three different continents before I admitted to myself that I wasn't going to read it, so I should stop carrying when I travelled.

I don't have a single book I take on flights, but there is a single 'genre' of books I always take with me: books about constitutional law.

I always have a dictionary on my carryons. Don't know why, but I love reading dictionaries.

I have a prayer book that I carry with me as a sort of good luck talisman. I never board a commercial flight without it, so since I started traveling extensively in 2001, it has traveled hundreds of thousands of miles with me to six continents and 20-some-odd countries.

A Cook's Tour by Anthony Bourdain, which I have read at least 4 times, has been with me on a number of trips. It's been to Chicago, Omaha, New York, Atlanta, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Paris, Tanzania and on board the trans-siberian railway when I road the train from Paris to Hong Kong. It's a good book from travelling, because it is about travelling, and is a good reminder to eat the local fare.
