A Cook's Tour by Anthony Bourdain, which I have read at least 4 times, has been with me on a number of trips. It's been to Chicago, Omaha, New York, Atlanta, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Paris, Tanzania and on board the trans-siberian railway when I road the train from Paris to Hong Kong. It's a good book from travelling, because it is about travelling, and is a good reminder to eat the local fare.
