Priority Pass questions
I'm fairly new to frequent travel.
I came across the priority pass website and it looks like a good deal.
Anyone have advice/comments about this program?
Any problems accessing lounges?
My travel is about 80% domestic and the rest to Europe/Asia.

I have PriorityPass and love it. Have never had a problem getting a member lounge to accept it. You may want to do a search on the topic and will probably get more info. If you have questions about what lounges are available at specific airports (I still don't understand why that info is available only after you sign up since the selection is plentiful), ask away and I'll look it up.

I have priority pass and it comes in useful if you aren't elite and want to have a shower. Their guide is quite good and it is always nice to get away into a quieter place.
For $23 a visit and $100/year I think it is an OK deal, not great but OK.
One thing to be careful of, they automatically renewed my membership stating I had indicated this on my original membership form. This is NOT TRUE, I never automatically renew anything.
Just a heads up.

Just wondering...
Does Priority Pass operate their own lounges? or use lounges of airlines that 'participate'?
I was looking on the Priority Pass website and it seems like they are pretty secretive as to which lounges they use.

So this does lead me to question whether it is interesting for me to pay the lowest subscription rate just to get the information that, in other airports, I would face the same situation.

I've never seen a lounge with the PriorityPass brand on it. You get access to a mix of lounges. Some belong to the airlines (the CO President's Club in Cleveland), some are operated by independent companies (Holideck at LHR, CityClub at FRA). You cannot assume that you have access to all the clubs affiliated with an airline- the list includes only some President's Clubs, for example. And, as the previous poster noted, there are some airports where the affiliated club or clubs isn't convenient. We fly out of MCI and unless we're flying American, there are no lounges available because of the way MCI is set up. (AA is in a separate terminal from many of the other airlines we fly and even if we were flying out of that terminal we'd have to go through security to get to the Admiral's Club and then go through it again to get to our flight.)

some lounges allow everyone to get in
If you regularly visit the same airports you should check and see whether it'd make more sense to just pay an admission fee there and then as opposed to tying yourself up for the whole year. Three airport lounges I've been in recently (BHX, PRG, WAW) welcomed anyone willing to part with 20-25 Euros for a drink and a newspaper.
Of course the above doesn't make a lot of sense if you travel frequently enough to be able to make economic use of their unlimited level, in which case you probably should already have free access by being elite with some airline or another.

As others have stated here, if you're flying into/out of the wrong airport with the wrong airport, Priority Pass is a none starter. For example, AF/CDG and LH/FRA/MUC are none starters for me. Also, think about the airports you regularly fly in/out of. For some the Prioirty Pass lounge may not look convenient on the face of it but may be quick and convenient to get around once you are airside (ATL springs to mind).

Admiral's Clubs available, but not all airports. You can get into the one(s) in ORD.

Can anyone identify the current PP clubs at the following airports: DCA, IAD, JFK, LAX, ORD, SFO and SJC?
Particularly interested in clubs at airports with separate international terminals such as SFO and LAX.
I have searched for this info but the last relevant post was a bit dated as it included TW clubs

SLC, CVG, CLE, IAH, and LAX Info Please

The way things are happening, we will be spending a lot of time flying AS, DL, AA, and CO during the next year. In SEA, we can use the UA Lounge, which is now more easily accessible from the AS boarding areas. At PDX, they are working on a connecting hall which would make the use of the UA Lounge more acceptable for AS Priority Pass PAX.
At SLC, the latest information I have is that Priority Pass has no lounges. But this is year old information.
For CVG, CLE, and IAH I have no info.
LAX is another one that I would like an update about.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

SLC and CVG- none listed. The latter was a surprise given how many DL pax connect there.
CLE, IAH- CO President's Club (one at CLE; several at IAH)
LAX - USAir (T1), Northwest (T2), DL (T5), CO (T6)
CLE, IAH- CO President's Club (one at CLE; several at IAH)

It is surprising that Priority Pass has not made an agreement with DL at CVG, and also SLC. The number of Priority Pass members going through these two airports should necessitate a Priority Pass Lounge. Maybe DL wants too much money for Priority Pass to use the DL Crown Rooms, or this could be a way to force CVG and SLC users to become Crown Room members. Either way, Priority Pass members should have some facility at these two major hubs.
