Does anyone use this service to get access to lounges across the world when you are flying coach? www.prioritypass.com

I belong to USAir and PP is nice when I can not fly US.

I also have Priority Pass and find it to be a very handy resource. Now that im StarAlliance Gold, I don't use it so much but its alway there should something go wrong. I used the Golden CIP Lounge in Bangkok on a long layover in late November and it was fantastic.

It's also worth noting that some charge cards from Amex come with an unlimited Priority Pass (dependant on your country of residence, see amex board in miles) which can turn out to be very good value on top of the other benefits.
For anyone who i) cannot always travel on the same airline to get status, ii) typically flies economy and iii) travels reasonably frequently, Priority Pass is a very good programme.

It's also great for short trips where you still have to get to the airport early and you don't want to buy a business class seat.

You really need to analyze how much you will use it and also the per-visit cost (if you don't join) of the lounges you would/could use. I considered joining but then found that the member lounges that I was likely to use had per-visit rates lower than the PP rate (on the basic membership), and I'd never use it enough for the top plan. However, with some airports and lounges, the formula for at least breaking even is met pretty quickly.

I like the idea that in alot of airports, there are multiple lounges that I have access to. As the domestic airlines have/are cutting many benefits in their lounges, I am more attracted to the lounges of the foreign carriers. I have the top membership but I wish they allowed me to bring one guest.

Is this club useful for those of us who fly mostly AA or UA between major domestic hub cities like SFO, ORD, IAD, JFK, LAX, DFW?
From what I can tell, most of the clubs are NW, CO and DL. And these won't do me much good when my flight is leaving from a terminal that is on the other side of the airport.
I also fly a few SWA cities like OAK, BUR, LAS and SAN, but I don't think they have any clubs at these places (though they could sure use a few).
I should probably sign up for the Admirals or Red Carpet, but then I would be shut out when I'm flying the other carrier.

Hmm, when looking at their website, I cant seem to find a list of what lounges they are affiliated with. I.e. I type ORD in search box and it comes back and says they have 3 lounges, in terminla 2 and 3 , yet it doesnt tell me which ones.
Is there a link somewhere that tells me what lounges they are, not just where they are ?

I cancelled my membership and got a full refund. As I am flying mostly in C on intl flights, I decided that I wouldn't need lounge access anymore. I really don't care too much about domestic lounges. I think you have to be a member to find out what kind of lounges and their names.

I actually quite like the idea of having access to different clubs, sounds like a lot better value than the Admirals Club membership..
