solo travelling is fun. why?

I travel solo a lot myself. i like getting to pick my own activities and restaurants and be able to keep my schedule to my own. Plus I've found that a lot of people just aren't fun to travel with. You spend all your time waiting for the other shoe to drop. They're negative or not adventurous or just annoying to be around.
