OK, so let's put some categories in there then:

1. General space (seat, headroom, aisle)
2. Quality of service
3. Quality of food
4. Toilet facilities
5. Treatment of gold card holders from within same alliance
6. Lounge facilities for gold card holders from within same alliance
7. Ease of use/quality of hub airport

heres my vote

In no particular order from my own experiences

Lufthansa
Emirates
Korean Air
Turkish (love their food)
Icelandair (Before they went the way of charging for food between us and iceland)

Cathay Pacific
China Airlines
Germanwings (good for cheap flights ex germany to elsewhere in Europe)
Aeromexico

Get it over with as fast as possible

I have been on several carriers (QF, EK, EY, TG, SQ, ...). I tend to get it over with as quickly as possible (in Y anyway). Etihad and Emirates do the trip in < 24 hours. The airports in Abu Dhabi / Dubai are quite ok.

My $0.02 worth. Cheers.
