Flight with the most stops

Back in the 1970's, Northwest had a flight between DCA and SEA on a 727 that made 9 stops. These days that does not happen. I believe the flight would have to be on WN as often you will see an aircraft flying coast to coast making as many as 4 or even 5 stops. Any idea which flight makes the msot stops for any airline.

That's the flight I thought of when I saw the title of this thread.

Same.

AS operates a milk run between SEA and ANC with several stops, typically using a 737 Combi.

ASKY used to operate between Accra and Lome (approx. 120 miles) via Abidjan, Monrovia, Freetown, Conakry, Bamako and Ouagadougou.

Took around 6.5 hours versus 20 minutes on the nonstop.

I did PA 001 and 002
JFK-LHR-FRA-IST-KHI-DEL and back the same way. From I think it went on to HKG and LAX(?) and back to JFK. I don't how many stops it made between DEL and JFK on the eastward section.

Is it gone now?? I really wanted to fly that when I visited but my trip was a day too short to fit it in.

I believe that QF has a milk run flight as well into central Australia. Doesn't look like it is on the route map anymore.

If you fly Horizon Air in the Northwest USA much you'll start to encounter these sort of routings.

For example, I once recall flying to Kalispell, MT from Seattle. I think our itinerary was something like Seattle -> Missoula -> Great Falls -> Kalispell.

Yeah, the ASKY milk run is now history.

Ceiba Intercontinental has one from Abidjan - Accra - Cotonou - Malabo - Bata though. Not quite as fun since it proceeds in the same general direction though....

The best remaining QF milk run is CNS-TSV-MKY-ROK-GLD-BNE.

I had a 9 or so hop flight through far inland Queensland booked on CC but the airline closed before my travel date

There's some by Bearskin Airlines using a Fairchild Metroliner that go through northern Ontario

JV 371 YOW-YSB-YAM-YQT
JV 361 YQT-YXL-YHD-YRL-YWG

There's also a few runs by Canadian North using a 737-200, here's one that I'll be taking in August.

5T 444 YEG-YZF-YVQ-YEV

Not quite as long as some posted here, but still useful for getting around a sparsely populated country outside of the main population centres.

What about Skytrans? They stil have a couple of milk runs:

Brisbane - Toowoomba - Charleville - Quilpie - Windorah - Birdsville - Bedourie- Boulia - Mount Isa, then Mount Isa - Burketown - Doomadgee - Gununa - Normanton - Cairns

Brisbane - Toowoomba - St George - Cunnamulla - Thargomindah

A/c is a Dash 8

That is very similar to the flights I had booked on CC.

Just for reference, most of these towns have populations less than 200, while Windorah has a whopping 80 people...

That begs the question as to whether all of these stops are even made on a typical day. If you're going to bother with the cost of landing an aircraft wouldn't you want to make sure you had someone to pick up or drop off?
With an advance booking requirement (of a few hours) you could easily determine whether you should even put the plane down in ___________ or just skip on ahead to the next one.

Unless of course there's a daily cargo delivery or something...
