What about Skytrans? They stil have a couple of milk runs:

Brisbane - Toowoomba - Charleville - Quilpie - Windorah - Birdsville - Bedourie- Boulia - Mount Isa, then Mount Isa - Burketown - Doomadgee - Gununa - Normanton - Cairns

Brisbane - Toowoomba - St George - Cunnamulla - Thargomindah
