Well I know Rex's multi stoppers like SYD-MIA-MIM would skip the intermediary if there were no arriving or departing pax booked, but this is very rarely the case. I can't speak for certain about Skytrans.

I presume there is a typo there. SYD-MIA would be further than any of Rex's aircraft could handle.
