longest trip ever without an overnight?

The question is "what is the longest (dumbest?) trip you have ever taken without an overnight, or bedrest on the ground?" i.e.continuous travel.

I would like to start by setting the bar for a trip I have upcoming from YYJ-SFO-MUC-ZRH-HKG. With a 5 and half hour connection in SFO, 1 hour in MUC, and 3 hours 20 mins. in ZRH.My total (elapsed) time of travel will be 36 hours and 4 minutes!

Anybody top that?

(Just in case you were wondering why I am doing this crazy thing, Its a result of the MPM limits over the Pacific from YYJ, and also limited F class availability on points in winter over the Pacific.)

YYZ-YVR-SYD-MEL-AKL

25 hours of pure travel

Hourish layover in YVR, 2.5 layover in SYD, my MEL-AKL had a 7 hour wait

If you add 3 hours in a hotel, it would have continued

DUD-AKL

Before a good nights sleep

YYZ-YVR-TPE-YVR-YYZ

Landed in TPE in the morning, meetings through the day, back on the plane for the flight back that evening.

I once came back from NRT the following way: NRT-CAN, overnight (flight arrived later than the FRA departure). Then CAN-FRA-YYC.

Many years ago, I bought a RTW with departure in FRA. Flew YYC-FRA-HKG.

BRC-AEP (bus) EZE-NYC-LAX-YVR-YYC

Two misconnects with reroutings. All in Y without any lounges, because I knew nothing then.

Sat outside security at LAX on the hard benches between the last NYC arrival of the night and first YVR departure of the morning; the automatic doors kept opening and closing due to the floor sweeping machines moving through their sensors.

Never Again.

All in Y: YYZ/FRA, 10 hour layover...left airport and went to Mainz to tour the city) and then another overnight flight to JNB, 3 hour layover and then onward to PLZ. Something like 36 hours.

Also in Y: Once I did YYZ/GRU, 6 hour stop over, onward to GIG. Wildcat strike air traffic controllers closed the Rio airport. Didn't want to venture out to downtown Rio (small airport hotel sold out) at 23:00 so I stayed at the airport. Next AVAILABLE onward flight to SSA was late afternoon so this one turned out to be 40 hours.

YVR-YYC-YYZ-JFK-HEL-VIE
Judgment error on my part; it seemed like a good idea at the time!

I left Vancouver on August 19th at 21:45 and arrived in Vienna on the 21st at 18:35 (9:35 Vancouver time). This included an 8 or 9 hour stopover in Toronto to visit family en route to Vienna as well as a very nice 8-hour stopover in Helsinki.

So that was about 35 hours and 10 minutes if it was actually as scheduled.

I guess mine doesn't count, actually, since YYC-YYZ and YYZ-HEL were both overnight ...

Including land travel, ~50 hours door to door. All in steerage

3 hours drive from minesite to airport, then TIM-BPN-DPS-CGK-SIN-NRT-SFO-YEG, then 1/2 hour drive to home

Was supposed to have long enough layover in SIN to go to the in-terminal hotel, but was late arriving.

The way I read this, the OP meant, with no overnight between flights. I would think in his case, both SFO-MUC and ZRH-HKG were overnight flights?

During the last AC pilot strike, we flew YYC-SAE very early morning. Waited a long time for the SK flight (now long gone) to CPH and used these two Star Alliance anniversary upgrade certificates. Then CPH-FRA and FRA-LED.

On the way back I came up with a bad case of giardia, which started during the flight LED-TXL. Endemic in LED actually.

PER-SYD-YVR-YYZ is the best I can do, I'm afraid.

At least one other guy did the whole trip with me...he was in Y, and didn't look much worse for wear than I did.

Oh wait!

I forgot I also did SYD-YVR-LHR-YYZ in one go. SYD-YVR in Y class, to boot. Upgraded to LHR, in Y coming back to YYZ.

This was the last part of my YYZ-LHR-stop-YYZ-stop-SYD-YVR-LHR-YYZ trip on a Y ticket. Used a SSWU on YYZ-SYD and the other SSWU on YVR-LHR.

40 hrs in 1983 from cameroon to dfw....started w/ 8 hr drive to airport wait, then southern france-paris-lon -dfw....lots of seat time, all in the back, but some y seats weren't too bad, even for 6 ft 3 in....

i've spent 3+ days on a train in seats 6 or more times.....maybe getting close to 100 hrs sans sack....

All in Y:

1) EZE-SCL-GYE, then 6 hours layover, then GYE-YYZ, bus to LGA, 10 hours at LGA, LGA-KCI, then MHK. From MHK I walked 12km into town. Total: 35 hours.

2) EZE-FRA (13 hours); 10 hours in FRA; FRA-PEK (10 hours), 2 hours in PEK, then 3-hour bus to Cheng-De. Total 38 hours

3) YYZ-ORD, 12 hours at ORD, ORD-PEK (13.5 hours), 7 hours in PEK, PEK-XIY, plus one-hour drive. Total: 37 hours.

There are probably a few more but I would have to check.

Malaysian airways used to have deal where if you flew transpac to KL, you could for a small additional fee fly onward to any other destination. So I went to South Africa. The routing back was
CPT-JNB-KUL (6 hour morning stop in airport hotel with pool)-can't even remember-LAX-YYZ-YXU.
56 hours door to door
(ok, doesn't quite meet the OP's criteria, but still...)
