Not being able to have a pet is indeed a drawback to this lifestyle. I'd love to have a dog. Right now, I'd get the ASPCA called if I tried to buy a Chia pet.

Several of the Kimpton Hotels will bring a goldfish to your room for the duration of your stay. It won't fetch, but it's better than nothing

I tend to lean on a balance..

Can't be couped up in a house 100% of the time.. but can't be travelling 100% of the time neither..

I think that is why 99.99% of us have a place we call home, and most of us travel as well.. a balance achieved..

When you have your own plane, having a pet dog becomes even easier as part of the lifestyle mentioned in the OP. Although when the lifestyle involves a great deal of international travel, expect to have to involve a dog-sitter somewhere sometime. If even that is too complicated, there are those rent-a-pet services in some localities -- some of which is driven by meet-market (dating) pursuits.

I would. Better to be mobile. I would have a stationary personal assistant in an office somewhere, but be constantly on the move myself. That's just me.
