Many years back EA and DL would operated from FLL to MIA usually for
either market consolidation or aircraft positioning.

At one time I lived in FLL. Was going to NAS one weekend. Took a morning
flight FLL-MIA changed planes in MIA for NAS.

I flew CO FLL-PBI-CLE

I think AA used to do a IAD-DCA that continued on to DFW

I do not think I have ever seen scheduled flights JFK-LGA-EWR or any
combination, only ferry flights.
yeah, a return-to-airport on Iberia due to mechanical issues back in 1982. We were in the air for less than 10 minutes. Never found out what the issues were! But we were eventually placed on another aircraft.

PHL to EWR then on to LAX, only 80 miles. The flight was 20 minutes. I live closer to EWR, but flying out of PHL was significantly cheaper than the same EWR-LAX flight. I parked at EWR and took a train to PHL just to get a flight back to EWR. On the return, I skipped the EWR-PHL segment.

6 Minutes 37 Seconds

SXM -> AXA

St. Maarten -> Anguilla

What a rush that was. Taxiing down the same runways that the big birds use...with the window open and pilot sticking his arm out!

And the return flight was cool too. Coming in over the best spotting beach in the world low and slow.

The shortest I've been on is CLT-FLO, which is 98.4 miles. Second place goes to IAD-PHL at 135 miles.

My shortest flight so far has been STT to SJU. I've taken it twice. The second time was much easier because I wasn't on a prop plane battered by a rainstorm.

(I'm now on hold with US because I'm trying to see what the heck happened to my Dividend Miles account password. It's a 24-minute wait. I've decided to post instead of get ready to go to the gym.)

LAX-ONT on a turboprop! 47 miles, and it was still definitely faster than driving.
