The Flash spawn problem seems to be fixed now.

cblaisd Jun 5, 2007 5:12 pm

There was an update today to one program (it doesn't tell you which).

But Hilton is still not working for me.

SanDiego1K Jun 5, 2007 5:15 pm

Still not working for me:
  • Hilton
  • Marrriott
  • Southwest

The update seems to have eliminated the annoying pop-up window...

Ditto on Hilton and Marriott. Southwest has been working fine for a while. SanDIego1K, you might have missed an update.

You're right, and it is all sorted now. If only Marriott and Hilton were working as well.

Hallelujah!!! :) Free is sometimes difficult.

Anyone else having trouble getting the update to download properly?

Every time I start the program, it asks me download an update, and then locks up. I think it's downloaded, though, because the pop-ups have stopped.

It's not really free, you know. It is paid for by advertiser dollars. Ironically, when it was truly free it was better maintained!

And to us who know it from the old days we understand USA Today has nothing to do with it. But USA Today is "paying" with their brand name attached to a poorly supported product. I'm sure there are many users now who's first exposure was through USAToday.com.

A simple update to work with the changed websites... is that too much to ask?

Marriott and Hilton are still not working for me in Deskport. I haven't been asked to install an update in quite a while. Will downloading a fresh version fix it?

SanDiego1K Jun 18, 2007 12:16 pm

Flash problem is not fixed. It just opens 1 window instead of 6.

No a fresh install wont work, have to wait for them to release a new version. Courtney (Mile tracker help desk) replied to my email and said they'd have a new version out soon (but this was close to 2 weeks ago).

Getting a bit annoyed, but its 'free' software, so what can you do.

Mileage Manager had the same problem with the Hilton web site when they changed but it's been fixed now so a fix is possible, it just hasn't happened yet with Miletracker.

Hilton is fixed with the latest update today.

A pain not having Hilton and Marriott for the last couple of months but kind of fun seeing over 100k posted all at one time:):):)
