....I plan to be more careful to make regular backups in the future. It's easy to do -- just pull down the Setup menu and click on "Backup Users, Accounts and Options."

Anyone having a problem with AA? I know the site was completely down for a while but I was able to log in successfully without using Miletracker. Now acct. comes back invalid log in when using Miletracker.
I guess we have to wait for the next upgrade. |

Thanks And, yes, AA has stopped working for me, too. |
I am having a problem where MileTracker deletes my Miletracer.settings file and replaces it with a 1KB stub - then MT has the nerve to tell me I have no accts or users set up!
Fortunately I had backed up the .settings file. But it is getting annoying having to restore it every 3 or 4 days after the application deletes it.... Told DeskPort and they are aware of the problem but don't know how to fix it. |

"Hi BLI-FLyer, Thank you for reporting the problems with Alaska and American in MileTracker. Our programmer is currently working on fixing both programs. We hope to release an upgrade in the next few days. Until then, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you for your continued support." |
Having problems with my MileTracker updating. Says I have two components that need to be updated. Download them, then when MileTracker starts up again, I receive the same dialog box. Running Windows Vista, which I think might be the problem. Anyone running XP experiencing the same problem?
|
I've got XP. The download worked great for me. BAA Worldpoints are now downloading.

This happened to me (XP Pro) a while back and no matter what i did (incl uninstall and re-install) it kept doing it. Then I think they fixed it (at least for me) with a new version and it hasn't happened since. Try the uninstall and reinstall.
Hi, We're still trying to work out a few quirks between MileTracker and Vista, one of them being the upgrades. I'm sorry that you are unable to upgrade your MileTracker as easily as you would with Windows XP. Hopefully we'll get that fixed in the near future. Until then, you can update your MileTracker by un-installing and re-installing the application. I know it sounds like a pain, but it's really not that difficult. By un-installing using the un-install function in your USA TODAY MileTracker folder, your accounts should remain on your computer. Then, you can re-install MileTracker from our website (www.usatoday.deskport.biz). As long as you don't delete your MileTracker folder after un-installing, your files should be there when you re-launch your updated MileTracker. To be extra safe, I would recommend creating a backup of your accounts if you have not already done so. You can do this by selecting "Backup Users, Accounts, & Options" from the "Setup" menu at the top of the MileTracker window. Then, you can save a copy of your accounts on your hard drive, thumb drive, CD, etc. Please let me know if you encounter any problems with un-installing and re-installing or if your MileTracker is not upgraded. After re-installing, you should be able to see if your MileTracker is upgraded by selecting "About" from the "Help" menu at the top of the MileTracker window. If it is updated, it should have a last updated date of April 19th. Thank you for your continued support. xxx DeskPort Technologies, LLC |
Hilton no longer works in MileTracker since Hilton re-did its login
And, of course, MyPoints hasn't worked in years. |
