I got this error when running FlightMemoryExporter:
After I RTFM, I downloaded Chrome and the code ran. So if you get this error, you probably don't have Chrome downloaded.

Hello All,
I finally went down the path of exporting my data, keeping it for safekeeping, and uploading into MyFlightRadar24. I mostly undertook this project, as I wanted a backup, just in case, and I want a more zoom-able map. CA for me on FlightMemory is just a blob.

So, here is how I did it:
In MYFR24 is super easy to Delete All Flights, so... I have imported, reviewed and deleted about 7 times now. My total mileage is off just a bit, but the numbers and hours are correct.

So, here is how I did it:
- This will export your data from FlightMemory into a Excel https://github.com/TobiasUr/FlightMemoryExporter
- Just download and run it, and all your flights are now backed up
- First Save your file as a CSV.
- You MUST have the date column in the YYYY-MM-DD format
- Excel will really screw with you here, I had do set my Region in Windows to have that date format
- The Duration MUST be in the format HH:MM:SS
- Again, Excel.... figure it out...
- I modified all of my lines for Airlines and but I still can't get them to import. Maybe you can.

Big fan of FlightMemory even if its been the same forever. Just scared to loose the data although with this migration it got me to kind of a master spreadsheet after piecing things together. Of course, in 2015 I didn't take the kind of notes I do now, but at least now its all in one place in my possession and on a couple services.

A new idea...
So recently sitting on a flight with no entertainment except the Panasonic "arc" map, I thought to myself, wouldn't it be cool if one could scrape all of ones flights from flightmemory to opportunity (doable), then toss those all into Google maps(doable), but then have a "plane" fly your lifetime flights constantly like as a screensaver or such, or one could save as a video file. I am no programmer, but anyone with any experience have any idea how difficult this would be to do?

You can save and scrape each and every page of your flightmemory and then import those into Openflights then you can import that into Google Maps and come up with a map that will show all your routes on a Globe, but that is as far as I have ever gotten. What I would have liked, and would still like would be to do something like Mult.dev, but that is only good for a few flights. Still would love someone to figure that one out!

Can you explain how you were able to do that? I have received a lot negative remarks about how dated my map is from people and that there are many ways to make it look fresher and more interesting...does anyone have any ideas? Ive never been able to figure the transition of data from Flight Memory over to another site.

They have an easy-to-use import/export system.
It imports from practically all CSV filesat least the ones Ive testedbut it takes some time because all flights go through the sites AI to ensure the flight details are correct.
Exports can be saved as CSV or PDF.
