I've thought about it but then when you keep adding routes then the map becomes out-dated.

Perhaps I need to invest in some poster pins and a roll of string...

I flew an airline not on flightmemory.com

Nothing important, but I was mildly surprised when I went to enter recent flight data into flightmemory.com and it didn't have the airline as one of its sugestions (that I saw).
The airline was Air Arabia, and from their seatback magazine's route map, they have a pretty extensive map covering from Morocco through the middle east to Pakistan.
Just a fun little thing to notice.

Man, I love that FlightMemory has not updated the website since 2003 or whatever. Anyone know how its funded and if there is any risk of it just disappearing some day with no notice?

Hmm, seems that although all my flight data has been updated now, the map is missing the latest route flown last week.

Normally it shows a line on the map the very next day, if I've pre-entered any data.

Anyone else having this trouble?

Starting today when I log on the "Flightdata" tab is missing all my history is missing. But I still see the stats on the "Statistics" tab so I do not think the data is gone. Is anyone else having this issue?

Same.

…I really need to find a way to export this data.

Same for me. Hope it comes back. My data is double logged on openflights, so no risk of losing it - but I generally prefer flightmemory...

I'm curious how others record wet lease flights. BA is leasing a few AY A320 including crews and AY operated the flight, but it was a BA flight number.
I recorded for now as an AY flight.

When QR were operating some BA short haul a few years ago, I had Qatar as the airline and BA as the flight number (as it was clearly QF service).

If the flight is operated by a regional carrier or subsidiary, I have the ticketing carrier (ie Air France) in the airline and flight number but put the operating carrier (eg Cityjet or HOP) in the notes.

I guess ultimately it depends on who's in flight magazine is in the seat pocket when I choose which airline to use.

One problem I did have was when I took a BA flight BMA-AAR operated by Sun Air of Scandinavia but this was actually ultimately flown by North Aviation. Difficult to have a hard and fast rule here.
