Missing early morning flights

I noticed that early morning flights never show up. There are a lot of transpacific flights departing west coast aournd 1AM, none of them shows up no matter what date and time I select.

For example, 2-Jun SFO-ICN, there is a 1AM OZ213/UA4665, but the tool only shows UA893/OZ6615 at 1155AM. 2-Jun LAX-ICN, there are 1220AM OZ203/UA4663 and 1230AM KE12, but the tool only shows OZ201/UA4661 at 130PM. I am referring to non-stops only, disregarding connections.

You can get OZ203/UA466:
Code:

LAX  Los Angeles Int'l CA US
ICN  Seoul Incheon Int'l KR

OZ  Asiana Airlines [*A] (South Korea) - AAR {Asiana}

As far as the KE flights are concerned, for now enter {Korean} (including the brackets) in the airline name field. This will be fixed in the future versions:

I see. You need to manually enter "01:00" in the time slot in order to get these flights. I first tried the drop down manu, then entered "1:00", neither worked. BTW, when I entered "1:00", the tool shows "1::00". I guess it was treated as "10:00".

Or just enter the hour, i.e. 1, it will recognize that. Future versions will accept times such as "1:00".

New Version With ITN.net/AMEX Support [1.2.4]

I've just released a new version of the KVS Availability Tool:
  • A new method has been added: ITN AMEX. It works in a similar way to the existing ITN method (which has now been renamed ITN UA), but does not have the annoying issue of displaying UA flights when not requested.

Where is the tool for download ? I am unable to find it.

What OS does this run on?

It seems to want to update several files on my Win2K work computer... should I try it on my WinXP Pro or WinXP Home computer instead?

I'd rather not upgrade my work computer... my IT department would have a fit. :-(

On a sidenote, it is something that might be required if the windows version is in french.

Be careful! I installed it on a Win 98SE machine and it overwrote a few system files. I got an rpc stub failure message while trying to run other programs. The fix was easy (had to overwrite the 4 files with the original ones) and everything worked fine.

While installing KVS make sure to select "NO" when it asks you to overwrite existing files.

Great tool to work with! Thanks KVS,

New Setup / Add'l Instructions for Win 9X Users

Turns-out that the issue described by vielflieger is, according to Micro$oft, a known bug. Therefore, from this point on, KVS Tool Setup will not be installing any system-critical files.

A new version of the setup is already available for download.

If you [still] use Windows 95/98, then you should download and install one of the following packages, downloadable from the Micro$oft's website, before running the KVS Tool Setup:

Win95: http://www.microsoft.com/com/dcom/dcom95/download.asp
Win98: http://www.microsoft.com/com/dcom/dcom98/download.asp
