My friends were on this flight and missed their onward connection to Jerez, due to a 30 min delay in departing. This resulted in them getting to Jerez over 4h late. They didn't know about their right to compensation under EU or Israeli consumer law, and cannot remember if any announcements were made about the cause of this delay.
The website FlightEra gives a few years worth of data for free !

Found this, if it's of any help. Cannot see the reason on there for the delay.

Thanks folks, found this too but I need the reason for the delay so IB can be held to account if it's within their responsibility. Nothing I've found so far is any more conclusive than this.

Good afternoon everyone. Is it possible to get flight data going back to 2003? I never knew I flew on a 747-400, but found one of my old flights from LAX-TPE on the way to Okinawa when I was stationed out there on BR111 (also EVA111, seems to be a retired flight number) on March 12, 2003 and am hoping to get the tail number and find out what happened to the plane.

The last flight for that flight number shows as 2008 on FlightAware with an MD11 flying between LAX and Victorville for retirement.

Hi all, I'm trying to get information on the following flight:
QA870 DOH-PVG Aug 26, 2019
If I remember correctly, it was delayed more than four hours and I will ask for compensation. It would be helpful if someone could get its actual time for departure and arrival.

Thanks in advance.

Surprisingly, this thread seems to have gone cold; I was thinking there are likely quite a few people in the same boat as me (trying to get historical flight data to recover refunds from airlines). I have been searching through this thread to find a good site for gathering details for an Attorney General case against Frontier Airlines, where I need to obtain additional information for my case, so any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I was on a cruise out of San Juan, Puerto Rico, originally scheduled from 03/22-03/29, 2020. The cruise (on RCCL) was canceled on 03/14 due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. Additionally, San Juan was barring travel to/from PR starting in mid-March. I contacted Frontier to request a refund and they only offered a 90-day credit for the airfare. This refund request was made on 03/22, for a flight that was scheduled to take place on 03/29 (from SJU to PHL - Frontier Flight 0109). Subsequently, Frontier canceled the actual flight and did refund passengers for this flight, however, they are claiming by voluntarily canceling my flight in requesting a refund, I am no longer entitled to the refund given to passengers for their cancellation.

So I am seeking additional information on exactly when the flight was canceled. I did visit the transtats bts gov ONTIME Cancellation site and it shows the flight was canceled, I believe (see attached), but is there any additional information I can find out that would definitively show the canceled flight info AND even better, if there is a date/time of when it was canceled.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide or direction to a site.

FR24 shows nothing for F9109 between 25 Mar and 22 May, not even a cancelled entry. Operational cancellations/ delays details are normally only available (e.g. on ExpertFlyer) for a very few days. Probably the only source now is the airline itself - maybe by discovery prior to court action - not sure about terminology, USA may differ from UK!

Thank you for the prompt reply/post. So are you effectively saying that Frontier's F9109 (SJU to PHL) flight was grounded (i.e. all flight instances canceled) from March 26th to May 21st, inclusive?

FR24 isn't absolutely 100% perfect, but it certainly looks like that no flights with the flight number F9109 took place. F9 is the Frontier Airlines code, to be clear - as you can see, flight number 109 has been used for different routes. It is just about possible that Frontier ran another SJU-PHL flight with a different number, but my guess - it is highly likely that the route was grounded for the duration.

Flightera shows the flight arrived 4 hours and 2 minutes delayed at PVG.

Cancelled BA499

Hi, my BA flight on January 4th 2021 was cancelled on December 22nd 2020. I made a claim for compensation under the EU Regulation 261/2004 and the airline refused citing "operational reasons" for the cancellation and nothing further. I know that the only way the airline can avoid payment is if the cancellation arose out of extraordinary circumstances outside of the airline's control. Therefore, I am looking for the flight history/ details of cancellation to assess whether to take my claim further. Can anyone please help or point me in the right direction?

Airline: British Airways
Flight: 499 or 0499
Date: 4th January 2021
Lisbon Portela (LIS) to London Heathrow (LHR)
Scheduled departure : 07:15

Many thanks in advance

FlightRadar24 (FR24) is the usual source for schedule checks. Here is a screenshot for the last month or so.

BA499 schedule

It is likely that BA will be able to use Covid-19 as an excuse regarding compensation for cancellations (which does not absolve them from duty of care for additional hotel costs or re-routing, for example).

I'm pretty sure this will be 9V-SPI, because this planes usually to a full turn and the flights from SYD to SIN ae the even numbers and from SYD to SIN the uneven.

This should be 9V-SRL. If I have the times, it would be even more confirmed.
