Best Laptop & Desktop Webcam?

Any suggestions for cameras that do not use the Logitech USB drivers? I found out the hard way that the Logitech drivers conflict with the Yamaha DME-N Network Driver, and once installed on a PC, the offending conflict cannot be removed by uninstalling the Logitech drivers, but requires the Windows XP operating system to be re-installed. I have had to do this three times now on three different computers

I want to be able to video conference, but also need to be able to run the Yamaha DME driver. So I need a reasonable camera other than Logitech.
