Any experience with the Verizon (HTC) SMT5800?

Looking to replace my aging Treo. The SMT5800 has been out a bit but I dont know if how people are finding them. Any first hand experience? Thanks.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 6.12) T-Mobile Dash)

Hmm, no one has one of these? That might not be a good sign.

Sorry to be negative, but after 3 HTC's, never again. Palms have been strong tho. Also Moto's.

Motorola is strong? You've been very very lucky.

That said, I've been using HTC made devices for years, and never had a problem.

And FWIW, HTC have been making the Palm devices for years

I have had two HTCs (Dash and TyTN) and been very happy with them. I just dont know about this device and have read some bad things about it. No one here or and even very few people on HoFo have them.

The Vox is a fine device, but a bit bulky compared to the treo.. What are you looking for in a handset? Does it have to be Verizon?
