Just a small example of Microsofts brilliance...

Hmmm, the quickest way to get from point a to point b is 47 hours, 31 minutes for 1685.9 miles of distance travelled, not including ferries, and the shortest way is 51 hours and 22 minutes for 390.3 miles travelled, not including ferries! Quite the scenic route for a trip that shouldn't last more than 8 hours!

i always thought that mappoint & microsoft's street&trips/autoroute software share the same database.
i know that in autoroute 2003, oslo is the only place in norway where they had info. the map information for norway is probaby not very complete.
