I think allofmp3 does a remarkably good job of explaining the law and the debate. Sure it is slanted in its favor, but they do explain the controversy and make it clear that no promises are made about its legality in other countries. There are arguments that it is legal for personal use in the US, but the RIAA strongly disagrees with these arguments and the issue has not been definitvely been addressed by a US court.
I think in most countries you are safe. In the US, I'd be a little worried.

1) Offering you music downloads cheaper and more comprehensive than Itune and DRM free
2) Offering you music easier to find and more reliable sound quality than trawling a million file sharing sites - oh and faster download
All of which underlines the stupidity and greed of the record companies ,since it is well within their capability to provide this in the first place!

There are rumors that the XROST link is removed for those logging in from US-based IP addresses. What's odd is that I can still see the XROST link, but my friend can't--and we're both on the same ISP!
Nonetheless, after some Google'ing, someone posted the link to redeem XROST PIN codes.

A press officer for the RIAA said that the organisation had not seen the media reports and had not made any official announcement.
"It is possible that the figure has been extrapolated from the number of tracks," the RIAA spokesman said.
"The $15,000 per track is laid down in US copyright law and is not something we have selected. It is possible that people are just doing the math."

Suing a non-US based company in a US court will do alot of good. Really a non-issue. They had the russian government investigate them, and they were found to be in compliance with Russian laws so the investigation was dropped.
