Ported my number from Sprint PCS to Nextel today ... yes, today, took a grand total of four hours from the time I activated my Nextel phone and requested the porting of the number until the number worked on the phone.

I even kept my phone number for a zip code I live 1,000 miles away from now ...

ATT is still charging me for monthly service despite me leaving them. Looks like another letter to the FCC.

I had the same problem, was charged an extra week. I filed an FCC complaint as well
