Exactly for this reason I have a battery operated Oral B brush for travels to exotic parts - you can get 2xAA batteries anywhere

After having unsatisfactory experiences with a few so-called worldwide aftermarket charging bases, I purchased the OEM Braun Travel Case and associated charger. It is expensive but works like a champ.
