Specialty Alarm Clock App

I'm looking for an alarm clock app for my father. Currently he's using his cell phone (an old Kyocera flip) to wake up every 2-2.5 hours over night. I'm hoping that there's an easier way to do this for him, i.e. set the alarm once and it will automatically set additional ones at the 2hr interval. Although he's got the flip phone now, my mom's old iPhone 5c is at his disposal, as are several other androids (4.0 and up.).

Does this even exist?

On the iPhone you can have several alarms you can have 1 every day 1am the 2nd one 3am etc. once set up you can forget about it ( you can even specify dates etc.)

His phone has 5 total. I'm looking for something where you set one, and the rest adjust and set automagically. So if he goes to bed at 10 PM one day, but 11 PM the next, he isn't needing to readjust everything again.

How about using a timer function and set it to 2 hours? When he hears it go off, he can restart it right away or a bit later as he desires.

You did not mention why he needed to wake up every 2-2.5 hours.

If it's for medical reasons, I suggest this:

Medcenter Model 70210 Talking Alarm Clock And Medication Reminder

We're trying to find a way that is as simple as possible. The timer reset isn't a bad though, however, he's managed to reset the timer often. It is a struggle to get it to turn back on.

It is for medical purposes. (if you have omni access, you can read about it here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/omni/...html)We're wanting to keep it on a phone because sometimes when he's having trouble sleeping he'll go into the guest room or basement. If it isn't mobile, he just won't use it.

Sorry to hear that. I pray for your family. Someone very dear to me also had cancer and not a day goes by that I wish there was something the doctors could have done for her.

There's also a vibrating reminder watch?

I would try to find an online forum/support group for people suffering from the same illness. Maybe they have a tested solution ....

Maybe something as simple as a digital kitchen timer. Set it to 2h > start > Alarm goes of > hit stop > hit start ...... (disadvantage possible too many buttons to do that repeatedly while being half asleep). Just throwing out ideas.

This, or another medication reminder app, might do it:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...oid.anytimerpr

AnyTimer is simple yet powerful reminder for recurrent events. It's user-friendly, reliable, easy to learn and use and offers surprising timers variability. Any created timer (interval or everyday) can use its own custom sound and one of two annotation ways. It can be used - without any warranty - as an advanced pill / medication / vitamins / drugs / contraception reminder, you can simply use it for managing your water intake or as a simple cook & grill helper or for any kind of daily repeating tasks or long term tasks repeating with interval up to 100 days. It is implementing interface for AchieveMint rewarding system Beta.

There are two timer types available:

Interval timer - easy to use timer with reminder based on starting time and repeating interval in hours and minutes. For example starting at 3.00 PM and repeating every 8 hours.
