There is a setting under "app settings", at least in the Android version.

Blocking Paid Roaming Does Not Block Incoming Calls

In Andorra right now, a paid roaming country.

I checked the profile option to block paid roaming. Despite my opting to block paid roaming, incoming calls still come through.

Data, however, appears to be blocked.

Block Paid Roaming -ONLY- Blocks data.

Cheap mans blocking - Divert your phone to VOICEMAIL for ALL CALLS

This will avoid the diversion charge if you reject a call. You will still get notified for calls for free - use WiFi or another service like Skype on another device then to check voicemail. You can dial your own number and check messages (should be able to press * then your pin)

Shows LTE connection on the phone, but does a speed test confirm LTE speeds?

cxua Apr 13, 2017 8:14 am

Recently in Kaohsiung Taiwan and connected to TW Mobile and definitely only got 128k speed.

LTE backhaul is still better for user experience - less latency and a faster connection to the US proxy. Definitely worth reporting. I think everyone knows the speed will remain throttled except in Canada or Mexico.

Yes. Just did a Speedtest on 3G and I got 11mbps down, 0.4mbps up. LTE a bit jittery, but will try again when I am back on there.

Hmmm, did you pay for a high speed pass? You should be seeing 256kb (or 128kb) max when roaming outside of Canada or Mexico

I have a plan with unlimited high speed data globally.
