Earbuds with volume & mic?

Sorry to add to all the "which headphones should I buy?" threads, but I didn't see this particular question addressed. I'm looking for reasonably high quality earbuds to replace the stock ones that came with my iPhone. I want earbuds that have the three-button remote and mic. I don't want to spend more than $75ish.

Can people recommend something?

Thanks!

I love my Motorola bluetooth headphones. The battery seems to last forever, talking is great as well.

Best of all NO CORDS!

I always carry about a spare battery like this one charges the headphones as well as the iphone when it needs it.

If you're looking for corded, these Bose Mobile Headset ones are the top of the line but they're a shade more expensive than you're lookin for ($90 for refurbs, bit more new)

Let us know what ya end up buying and how u like them. I have a pair of Koss iSparks that I use when I need a cord (long flights, traveling, etc). I like these as the earpiece foam isolates the headphone cord noise that in-ear headphones usually have. The price is right ($20, includes the skip song button, etc), but I hardly use em since I got my Bluetooth ones.

Airbuds

40$ www.air-buds.com

they are the best travel buds I have used. The isolation on them is amazing and because they are made from memory foam, they fill to fit any ear.

They have an intelligent mic that when squeezed can answer calls, stop tracks, etc..

they have really added to my travel experience. very excited about them

I just picked up a set of Logitech noise isolating earbuds at Costco for $50. I had forgotten my Sennheisers and on the way to the airport decided I wanted an inline volume control anyway. The sound and noise isolation was as good as my Sennheisers. It also has a microphone, but I have not tried to use them on a call yet.

I cannot vouch for the quality (although I know the sister of the founder of the company), but these are on-sale via ebay....

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-Skullca...99&PID=1225267 - $8

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-Skullca...99&PID=1225267 - $10

Sorry, looks like you want some more functionality on the mic.

I just bought a new set during a stopover in AMS, which so far I'm quite happy with. They are AKG Q350's:

I used to have the logitech buds that run for about 50 but the airbuds are definitely better at isolating and the comfort is honestly better than any buds i have tried.

I have a pair of MEE's. They are well-built, cords don't tangle and good sound.

Every pair of SkullyCandy's I've bought has had the plug stop working. I find it hard to believe that after 40 years of making headphones, a manufacturer like Sony (who now owns SkullyCandy) can't figure out how to prevent the plug from breaking.

It's probably more difficult, but much more profitable, to make it break after the warranty is up, and that's what they seem to do, and I'm off to buy new headphones.

Skullcandy no more.

Take a look at Altec Lansing as well. I don't care for their speakers but their earphones are another thing altogether.

Bose SIE2i sport headphones?

Anyone try / use the Bose SIE2i sport headphones? I already have Bose QC15 (and love them--one of my best purchases ever). Now, I'm looking for a high-quality 'sport' pair of earbuds.

$150 seems pricey for what it is, but I can be convinced...

I always recommend Etymotic Research. I don't have any that have a mic or volume control - I have the HF5 - but they make some that do. I believe the MC3 would be in your price range with what you want.

I can tell you that the Etys are the best sounding earbuds I've ever used and do a great job blocking noise.

I'd recommend the Scosche IDR355md earbuds. Very rich sound, excellent base, and in a very reasonable price range ($40-$50). You can get them from Apple Store.
