Sorry, looks like you want some more functionality on the mic.
Every pair of SkullyCandy's I've bought has had the plug stop working. I find it hard to believe that after 40 years of making headphones, a manufacturer like Sony (who now owns SkullyCandy) can't figure out how to prevent the plug from breaking.
It's probably more difficult, but much more profitable, to make it break after the warranty is up, and that's what they seem to do, and I'm off to buy new headphones.
