Hello my dear fellow FT'ers,
A good friend of mine is about to launch an exciting travel perks membership program and with it they are partnering with one of every must-have travel tool/app/product/accessory under the sun.

I would truly appreciate it if you, savvy travelers out there, can enlighten us on what we might have missed.

Here is a list of current partnerships (naming categories only, with no specific provider):
Hotel/Air/Car deals
Airport lounge access
Travel insurance
Live travel concierge
Award redemption assistance
Ground Transportation
Luggage delivery
Airport VIP meet & greet
Data roaming SIM
Global WiFi access
Award/Points tracking
Luggage tracker
Flight tracking & availability tools
Cellphone rental
Luggage deals
Travel magazines deals

Not much talk about a travel pillow for the plane. Have never used one but see many travelers use it so wondering whether people have a fave or just a waste of space?
This one looks like it will pack up small

Great thread!

First, A CHECKLIST so that I don't forget anything critical! Seriously, without my checklist I'd probably forget something important just about every time.

And second, in addition to many of the items already named, my Garmin Sat Nav because I find there are times I rent cars even when I hadn't planned on it. Carry my own Nav because it's a million times better than the iPhone (never loses signal and infinitely better maps and directions) and it's paid for itself many times over vs. paying Hertz, and cars with navs aren't always available, especially at smaller locations.

Recently upgraded to this model -- has all of North America and Europe! Just used it in the UK a few weeks ago and it's amazing -- warns you of speed traps!

Edit: I forgot one item I didn't see mentioned -- My Travel Alarm -- never trust wake up calls!

I use the Tempur Pedic Travel NeckPillow. I used it for lower back support on the plane and it works great.
