I assume this directed to me! It is a D90 with an 300mm ƒ4 lens, shot at ƒ8. It is rather cropped (i forgot my teleconverter at home). I also used a step ladder from Wal*Mart.

Yep it was. Nice pic.

Ahh those step ladders from wal-mart. They should make some that fit in a SLR case.

Thanks! The last time I was @ YUL I had a small SUV rental with a sunroof, so that was my stepladder. This time I had to buy one...

I saw this guy while walking through LHR. It pretty much stopped me dead in my tracks as I'm sure it does to most when they see their first one.

Yes, it is. Fokker F-28 now has been already retiring. So last time where I flew on smaller aircraft from FLL-MCO on operating Piedmont Airlines. So I didn't like it to be on Piedmont Airlines at all. I am still more favorable to fly on Delta is more convenient for me.

Not the best photos, but whenever you can sit in your hotel and shoot planes...

... it is never a bad thing. aLOFT by W at YUL. 5th floor.

WOW. I have NEVER seen a picture that captures the beauty of exhaust like that! Heck, I didn't even know there WAS a beauty to exhaust before this picture!

The intricacy of the pattern of the exhaust--from the tight lines of focus right out the back of the engine all the way to the shower-door-type "pinhead frosted glass" pattern the heat from the exhaust develops into--is absolutely stunning.

Great capture!

There's also the deliberate blur effect that comes from jet exhaust...
