Zurich Airport has a great viewing platform with ATC playing on speakers. There is also a tour which parks you near the runways for a short while (you can see the bus and tour group in the Emirates pic), which is where I got the Aeroflot from. Of course I didn't realise until I was on the bus that the tour is all in German :/ (*hint I dont understand German)

Spotted at LEX (Lexington, KY). This is an airport that typically only sees RJ activity (plus general aviation...and the occasion "big plane" charter). But seeing a 747 was quite the sight.

When the big ones arrived it felt like a smooth summer breeze but as you can see @ about 2.10 from my video below when Corsair 747 taking off you learnt where to stand and where not to stand... this is from our first day at Maho beach.
