I love flying for the reason that I get to see the nature from the top. Nature at its best when looking at it from the above.

One of the first photos I took I that really liked...I called it Sun and Props. From an AA Saab-340 flying LAX-SAN in October, 2005:

I really can't sum it up into one image so here's 6...







Somewhere over Iowa or Nebraska or thereabouts







All of those taken on AAL143 from BOS-LAX. The city shots are in LAX at night. These were taken on a tiny Sony Cybershot DSC-WX9...superior auto. I was IMPRESSED.

Just after departure from FCO.

Does anyone know why the sea suddenly changes color to such a deeper blue? Is that where the deeper part of the sea start? Never seen it start so sharply.
