app to geotag photos on ipad
I am taking a trip, but I don't really want to carry my laptop. I usually take a couple of thousand pictures between my wife and I on the trip and lately the camera's I buy don't come with gps built in, which is nice for battery life, but bad for geotagging...
I did find a thread from 2014 about this, but one year on ios apps seems like we are moving in dog years, so I imagine that there are better products now.
What i'm looking for and cannot find is an app that runs on my ipad and takes the gps track from my iphone that I run all day and then tags my pictures when they are on the sd card, but they stay on the sd card, because my ipad only has 32 gigs of memory.. Does this exist?
thanks for the help..
I know I can do this on my laptop, but i was hoping to not have to bring my laptop...

How is the iPad going to know about the images on the SD card if they remain on the card?
For manual tagging of locations I use Mappr and am reasonably satisfied with it, but that's a very different use case from what you're describing.
