QR A359 on fire in CPT ?
Fortunately not, tyres (?) were set ablaze in the background of QR1370 about to take off ...
Just after takeoff from CPT (EK 773) over Cape Town (frame of video).
Spectacular view of Cumulonimbus clouds over Mozambique (EK773 CPT-DXB). There was some turbulence and the pilot was presumably trying to avoid the Cb clouds...
Tropical rain forest / savanne in Mozambique (from EK773 CPT-DXB)

Over Puerto Rico:
Late afternoon Mount Olympus out of SEA for SAN:
San Diego, Point Loma, & NAS North Island, a place I have more than a passing familiarity with. There are 4 aircraft carriers in the photos.
I think this is Midland, TX. At the time I was on my way to the annual Commemorative Air Force Airshow there, but its been almost 20 years since that pic was taken.

I spent a significant part of my youth in uniform as a cargo helicopter flight engineer. Mostly good times, lots & lots of travel down low and slow, but faster than driving.
View looking out the doors/ramp/window on one of my last flights. These were taken around the Joe Pool Lake area south of Dallas, on the way back to NAS Dallas after spending the day at Ellington Field, Houston. Got to take a super cool behind the scenes tour of NASA's aviation operations at Ellington, including the famous Vomit Comet.
NAS Dallas. A lot of aviation history in that area.
