Excellent photographs. From the time and date stamp on the image file, can you find your location from FlightRadar24 (or similar) and work out which mountain from there?

On the subject of volcanoes, after many visits to Japan, the best shot I’ve got of Mount Fuji is this:

Care to share the flight data (O-D, take off or landing?).

I often take off and land either NRT or HND, but never saw this.

Yes, likewise, arriving into NRT or HND historically (when routing over Russia) arrival/departure is from/to the North. Even flying into KIX I never had any luck. This shot was courtesy of connecting flights HND-NGO-HND, the northbound of which routed along the coast and, thankfully, I had snagged seat 1A.



From the same flight, this was in the descent into HND from the southwest.​​​​​​​

Hi,

Was lucky with a seat assginment, good weather and and easterly departure but got a beautiful arial view of London when I headed to viennna.


London Eye and Thames in the middle, Hyde park to the left, Canary Wharf to the right

View looking backwards from 4A ( A320) with views of Canary Wharf, 02 area and city airport

I flew SFO-RDU yesterday and due to turbulence we were way lower than usual and it was a beautifully clear day
