Runaway blimp
This isn't really in the news yet, but I suspect it will be ... A blimp broke free from its lines today at OAK and was last known to be heading west. My husband's FAA facility received notice about it, but I haven't heard anything else about it. Anyone else heard anything?

It was the "Spalding Blimp", promoting the XFL, and it crashed into a waterside restaurant in Oakland. No injuries, but lots of helium-filled clams.
